Historical fiction reading can be boring when in 4th grade, these task cards HELPED! My 4th graders loved working in a group and figuring out these questions together. It really helped them build a community with one another after being out of school for so long! I have only used the historical fiction task cards so far but I cannot wait to use the rest of them next year!

I printed these double-sided and laminated them for students to use to quickly apply this week's nonfiction skill before moving on to longer and more challenging text. The length is perfect, the readability vs/ difficulty balance is there, and they feature high interest topics without being purely kid-focused. Very satisfied.

Great source for elementary students! My students love this resource! It is understandable and simple! They found it to be fun and engaging! It was simple to prepare-I just printed and laminated them. I use it for one of my ELA/Reading centers.
