I love when I want to create something but don't have the time and find exactly what I wanted on TpT! These bookmarks are perfect when you're discussing genres.

I used this with my 6th grade students as part of the unit introduction lesson, and then they used them the entire time they were reading text(s). They were perfect to help keep their place, and they could even make extra notes on the bookmarks. I reminded them that bookmarks also prompted them what to look for in the text to help them annotate their reading!

The perfect way to start a genre unit study! I print and laminate and if they have them at the end of our unit of study, they can choose a reward!
